This game is really awesome, that's an amazing work, on every level ! I love the mood, the art, the gameplay, you don't extend the game's lenght by forcing the player to move slowly, or with too many useless dialogues, and there's a really good impression of freedom on the answers, and path we can take.
The game reminds me of old school kick ass games like Beneath a Steel Sky, Guilty/Innocent until Caught and even french games (I'm french) : Operation Stealth (known in US as a James Bond adventure) and Future Wars : Adventures in Time (known as "Les Voyageurs du Temps" for us).

In fact, the only little problem I've found until know is the inventory : I can't seem to find a way to open it without right-clicking on an object on screen, I don't know how to explain it in english, it's not clear, not straight forward. My first reflexe was to right click anywhere to open the inventory, perhaps you could permit that.

But this is really a minor issue, I'm so glad I can play your game and get back in the mood of the previous games I've mentonned, congratulation for your work !

@Jep
Thanks! I've played all the games you've mentioned except Future Wars, and they were a part of my adventure catalog growing up.

Yeah, that's the only way you can open the inventory, but there should be an object on just about every screen, so it shouldn't be too much of a problem. :)

Excellent, excellent game! I just finished it. Questions:
Are there any alternate ending options?
I don't feel I fully understand the backstory .. is it possible I missed something, or is that the point?

@fuzzyTew

I can't answer either question completely without spoiling them, but a lot of it is up to the player to infer what happened or kind of delve into the backstory on their own effort.

Great game Joshua! Played the demo and will buy the release out of support. Love the oldskool feel. Greetings from Germany!

This one is a truly great game, thanks a lot for it. Had lots of fun playing it through, just finished it yesterday. Really liked the story and the atmosphere. Maybe it was a bit too easy, I think you could put harder puzzles in your next title.

Anyways, keep up the good work, we really need good adventure games nowdays.

Congratulations for the game! I'm very impressed! An excellent work in every aspect. A huge work for only one person!

I love the atmosphere and the olkskool looking.

My truly greetings from Spain (and sorry for my english!)

Hey man, great game, finished it yesterday, though had guessed the ending twist halfway through, still very well written and told (your game is punch/wake-up call on existing adventure gaming).

You seem to love Japan, boryokudan = yakuza, currency dealt by vendor in yen, and name sayuri etc. I dont mind it , since i love Japan too,just wanted to know your intention behind it.

Also encountered spelling mistakes on 2 words
"instincts" and "continued".

Just my 2 cents.

@Mathias Thank you!
@Scythe Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
@Toni Thanks! And your English is fine!

@game The intention was to foreignize natural elements, to make the player feel even more as if s/he was an outsider.

Where were the spelling mistakes, btw?

I'm a huge fan of your amazing game. I don't want to go on and on, so I'll just say, "thanks."

@joshua
Words instincts and continued were spelled with missing letters,nothing gamebreaking not going in detail, will spoil for others. Exact location i can't recall, but i am sure instinct(s) is not used much, so you can narrow it down easily.

I have 2 technical questions , can i PM on your youtube channel?

@Lee, TOni, Bio - Thanks!

@Game - Sure, that works.

I have finished the game tonight and i can say one thing: PLEASE, MAKE ANOTHER GAME!! I loved the whole game, the characters, the story, the wonderful places,the changes in the plot... Can I know if you are involved in another game? See you!!!

This game has more soul than many AAA blockbusters. Congratulations!

Wonderful game! It reminds me the "Blade runner" by atmosphere. The only question that stays open for me is - who the hell was Delta-six in the past? But probably I've missed something from terminals and general plot, so for sure I have what to do in the next replay.

Once again - thanks for such marvelous piece of art that stands way up of a lot of soulless games nowadays.

This was the very first game that made me cry (seriously) - despite some awkward plot elements and the shitty 1990s graphics.

encountered a minor bug where sayuri suddenly spoke in male voice. that was slightly awkward by no harm done :)

any intentions of releasing the game on direct2drive please ?
